This 168ft Damen Luxury Motoryacht has been a reoccurring project for Sweep Marine over the past couple of years with services ranging from chain locker repairs and tank refinishing, to painting of the port and starboard railings as well as one of biggest encapsulation projects to date.

Outcome:

Chain Locker repairs included sandblasting, priming and painting as well as rectifying issues with the existing paint which was uncovered during the preparation phase.
Accessing confined spaces of any area of a vessel is always a risky task which is why our staff are not only certified in confined space entry but also undertake regular training to ensure they are always completing these tasks in the most efficient and safest way possible.
Water Tanks were prepped, primed, and coated as per our standard refinishing process then followed up with a full clean and sanitisation ready for use.
It was a battle against the elements during the encapsulation of this vessel. With a full encapsulation of the Mast, top of the wheel house, mobile encapsulation of floating barge and a 3 level encapsulation of the pier, but even through the wind, rain and late nights the team pulled it off in record timing.
